Emerson Reinforces FlowScanner 6000 with Kalsi’s KVAP

Emerson Electric Co. EMR recently modified the FlowScanner 6000 valve diagnostic tool with Kalsi Engineering, Inc.’s Kalsi Valve & Actuator Program (KVAP) software. The initiative is in sync with the premium industrial goods company’s attempts to modernize the product offering with the addition of innovative technologies.

Innovation Details

Emerson’s FlowScanner 6000 is a potent diagnostic tool to evaluate the performance of models and makes of air functioning control valves. The KVAP software helps in designing basic calculations for general variations of actuators and valves, primarily used in motor and air operated valves. Thus, the new FlowScanner 6000 Version 6.6 with the KVAP software would facilitate efficient trending and tracking analysis as well as direct feedback to calculate different functional margin according with ASME OM Code Mandatory Appendices III and IV.

In our view, the integration of KVAP Software would enhance the popularity and demand of the FlowScanner 6000 and hence boost revenues .
