Recently, Ryland Group Inc. (RYL) unveiled five new Texas communities: Saratoga Hills in Austin, Rancho Sienna and Santa Rita Ranch in Georgetown, ShawdowGlen in Manor and Rockwell at Wyoming Springs in Round Rock.
Located in Texas Hill Country, homebuyers at Saratoga Hills will be offered three-car, side-entry garages, gourmet kitchens, covered outdoor living areas, and guest quarters. Other easily accessible outdoor entertainment includes polo club, vineyards and wineries.
Meanwhile, Rancho Sienna homes will offer easy accessibility to the greater Austin area, hillside views and trail, a large covered pavilion, splash pad, playground, swimming pool and a fitness center.
The ShadowGlen community, which includes five floor plans, is located close to an 18-hole golf course, a retail center, a waterpark, a spacious amenity center, a fitness center and an elementary school. Rockwell at Wyoming Springs is close to Round Rock, one of the fastest growing cities. On the other hand, Santa Rita Ranch in Georgetown will offer six floor plans, along with two welcome centers, swimming pools and splash parks.
The housing market recovered at a steady pace in the second half of 2014 after a slump at the beginning, thanks to overall economic growth, improving job numbers, growing consumer confidence, moderating home prices, stabilizing mortgage rates and a low level of housing inventory.
Though housing starts and permits declined in the month of November, the broader housing trends remained stable to slightly positive. Despite soft housing starts in November, analysts in general believe that the underlying housing conditions remain stable and will pick up momentum in 2015.
