JetBlue Enhances San Francisco-Las Vegas Connectivity

Zacks

Low-cost carrier JetBlue Airways Corp. (JBLU) recently announced new twice daily non-stop flights from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport (LAS).
JetBlue will fly 150-seat Airbus A320 wide-bodied jets on the route which boasts better leg space along with unlimited free snacks and other refreshments. Moreover, passengers will able to enjoy the fastest in-flight Internet service currently available – Fly-Fi – free of cost.
An introductory fare of $59 for one-way travel between San Francisco and Las Vegas is on offer through Jan 11, 2015 for customers traveling between Jan 19 to Apr 30, 2015.
Under this new service, fliers to Las Vegas can book their flights, hotels and car rental services through JetBlue Getaways service, thus availing better rates for bundled offers. Moreover, Getaways passengers will be able to avail 24-hour customer support during as well as post tours.
In Dec 2014, JetBlue had launched three new routes from Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA) to Fort Myers (RSW) Jacksonville (JAX) and West Palm Beach (PBI) in Florida. JetBlue offers two daily non-stop flights to Jacksonville along with every day flights to Fort Myers and West Palm Beach.
Hence, we believe that increased flight frequency coupled with low fares will not only enhance traveling options but will also boost passenger revenue for JetBlue going forward.
JetBlue currently carries a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy). Other favorably-ranked stocks worth within this space are American Airlines Group Inc. (AAL), Delta Airlines Inc. (DAL) and Southwest Airlines Co. (LUV), all of which carry a Zacks Rank #1.
