Ryland Unveils Single Family & Townhomes in MD

Zacks

Recently, Ryland Group Inc. (RYL) unveiled a new community of single family and townhomes, called Parkside in Upper Marlboro, MD. Prices of these single family homes start from $400s and the prices of townhomes start from $300s.

The traditional luxury single family homes at Parkside will offer six floor plans, accommodating up to 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 2-car garages. On the other hand, Arcadia town homes at Parkside accommodate up to 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 1-car garage. The residents will enjoy easy access to shopping, dining, clubhouse, spa, swimming pool, parks, trails and other entertainment options.

Homes in Parkside will also feature Ryland’s HouseWorks program. This program reduces utility bills and protects environment through the use of low-E window, energy star appliances and low volatile organic compounds paint among others.

Homebuilders are having a good time as the housing recovery is well on track in the latter half of the year. Though housing starts declined in October, building permits and sales of existing homes improved, implying improving housing demand in the upcoming quarters.

In the face of the above macroeconomic scenario, Ryland has been making continuous efforts to open new communities and meet customers’ demand. The recent opening is in line with this strategy.

Ryland Homes currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).
