Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (HMC) announced that it has started marketing the all-new Grace Hybrid sedan in Japan. The compact sedan offers better driving experience together with fuel efficiency. The vehicle falls under the 5-number size category and has a spacious cabin together with regal styling and high visibility.
Grace’s cabin space is as large as that of an upper-middle sedan. The long wheelbase and placement of rear seats increased legroom for rear seat occupants. The car is equipped with a large and user-friendly trunk space with a capacity of 430L. Grace offers a relaxing, enjoyable and comfortable drive.
The new Grace features Honda’s SPORT HYBRID intelligent Dual Clutch Drive (i-DCD) which includes a 1.5L Atkinson cycle DOHC i-VTEC engine, 7-speed DCT with built-in high-output motor and the intelligent power unit with a built-in lithium-ion battery. The i-DCD enables the driver to enjoy outstanding fuel efficiency of 34.4 km/L and a highly-responsive and dynamic driving performance. In addition, Grace offers a 4WD version, which helps in increasing customer safety in colder climates or snowy areas.
Grace offers a grand exterior design which is appropriate for a compact-size sedan. It has a compact body with a long hood. The traditional sedan style with a long wheelbase is merged together in an elegant form in Grace. The look has been enhanced by connecting the rear combination lamps.
The interior design of Grace offers comfort to all occupants. It also has advanced safety and security features including Advanced Compatibility Engineering body with Honda’s original G-Force Control Technology, Pedestrian Injury Mitigation Body structure, Vehicle Stability Assist system, a Hill-Start Assist function as well as the Emergency Stop Signal system and City-Brake Active system
