Doug Casey joins Kitco News to talk about his sentiment towards gold and other metals given the recent price activity we’ve seen in the marketplace. “Gold is an excellent bargain today, and the same is true for platinum…and silver – all precious metals.” Casey also comments on the recent strength of the U.S. dollar and says that he doesn’t make much of it since ‘all markets are cyclical’ in nature. His opinion on the Federal Reserve hasn’t changed much either. “I don’t like to talk about what the Fed should do because I don’t think the Fed should exist.” Finally, Casey talks about mining stocks and seems a little more optimistic than most investors in the sector. “I’m of the opinion that we’re bottoming right now in most of the commodities, and I think we’re at the bottom of these mining stocks.” Tune in now to find out why he thinks there may be a ‘super bubble’ in the commodities space.
