Logitech Unveils Advanced Keyboard; Boosts Peripheral Line

In its latest endeavor to boost the computer peripheral line of products, Logitech International (LOGI) unveiled G910 Orion Spark yesterday. The keyboard is integrated with the exclusive New Romer-G Mechanical Switches, Intelligent RGB Illumination and Arx Control Integration features. Also, the device is expected to be available in the U.S., Europe and certain countries of the Asia Pacific for $179.99 starting Nov 14.

The keyboard’s Romer-G mechanical switches boast 25% more efficiency and 40% more durability than the traditional keyboards available in the market. Moreover, the Romer-G switch will help the device withstand intense wear and tear while gamming. Meanwhile, the intelligent illumination feature will offer users the option to customize every key of Orion Spark from a wide palette of 16.8 million colors. Using this superior function, users will be able to mark keys to keep track of spellings and other commands, change colors to match setup.

This keyboard demonstrates the company’s relentless focus to take computer gaming to the next level.

The keyboard also comes with nine programmable buttons to customize the user’s favorite game by assigning game controls and macros to the nine individually programmable G-keys, for quick and easy access to complex commands.

Meanwhile, in the month of Jun 2014, Logitech unveiled its offering for the Samsung Galaxy Tab range — Logitech Type-S — a keyboard case for the 10.5-inch version of Samsung Galaxy Tab S.

Logitech presently enjoys strong traction in the mobile speakers and PC gaming market. The company’s PC gaming division is growing on the back of rising demand, as a result of which the segment reported a robust 86.0% increase in sales in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2014 and a 16.6% improvement in revenues in the first quarter of 2015. The company is expecting to benefit significantly from these collaborations as eSports is likely to gain significant popularity over the long run.

Logitech is a global leader in peripherals for personal computers and other digital platforms, developing and marketing innovative products in PC navigation, Internet communications, digital music, home-entertainment control, video security, interactive gaming and wireless devices.
