Broadcom's BCM7252 SoC enables the delivery of Ultra HD content at a speed of 60 frames-per-second and reduces the required bandwidth significantly, thereby enabling the content to be transmitted faster than other available variants. Ultra HD offers richer colors and high contrast ratios, leading to high-quality images. It facilitates efficiency in operator content delivery for increased footprint, higher resolution and additional channels. The new STBs by SK Broadband will also feature video-on-demand services to provide the best quality on 4K TVs and an enhanced user experience.
