NEW YORK, Sept. 16, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Effective September 16, 2014, The Hochman Practice Group, formerly of Rosen Seymour Shapss Martin & Company LLP (RSSM), based out of New City, NY has joined Grassi & Co.—a Top 100 Accounting Firm with offices in New York City and Jericho, NY—and will operate under the Grassi & Co. name going forward.

The decision to join these two teams is the result of a variety of synergies, which will allow both firms to provide increased skill-sets and technical expertise as well as a wider array of services and new opportunities to their clients, while also expanding their geographical reach. The combination of teams will also provide the firm’s professional staff with continued opportunities for career development and growth as Grassi & Co. is consistently exploring and capitalizing on opportunities to expand its presence and capabilities in the region.
