STAG Industrial Announces Acquisition And Leasing Activity For April 2014

BOSTON, May 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — STAG Industrial, Inc. (the “Company”) (NYSE:STAG), a company focused on the acquisition, ownership, and management of single-tenant industrial properties throughout the United States, today announced its acquisition and leasing activity for April 2014.

Acquisitions

In April, the Company acquired two warehouse and distribution buildings and one light manufacturing building containing a total of 1,003,100 square feet for approximately $36.7 million. These buildings are located in the Savannah, Georgia; Dallas/Fort Worth; Texas; and Cincinnati, Ohio CBSAs. The buildings are 100% leased with a weighted average lease term remaining of 5 years.

For the year to date, the Company has acquired seven industrial buildings consisting of approximately 2 million square feet for approximately $74 million.

Leasing

In April, the Company signed three renewal leases consisting of approximately 218,000 square feet. For the year to date, the Company has signed eight renewal leases and four new or expansion leases for a total of 1.3 million square feet.
