Acquisition Reinforces Service King’s Position as One of the Country’s Largest Multi-Shop Operators

RICHARDSON, Texas, April 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Service King Collision Repair Centers (Service King), a multi-shop operator of high-quality collision repair facilities, announced today that it has reached an agreement to acquire Sterling Collision Centers and its 62 stores. This acquisition will bring the total number of Service King locations to more than 170 across 20 states, reinforcing its position as one of the country’s largest multi-shop operators.

Service King is a leader in the collision repair industry, offering customers a superior service experience for more than 38 years. After establishing the organization as an industry leader in Texas, Service King began expanding its footprint outside of the state of Texas in 2012 to Arizona, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Nevada and Oklahoma. The acquisition of Sterling Collision Centers marks a key milestone for Service King and its more than 2,600 teammates while undoubtedly changing the multi-shop operator landscape.
