Kitco News speaks with Fernando Ganoza of Atico Mining about the company’s recent developments and its El Roble mine in South America. Ganoza says the mine operations are going well although certain issues arise from operating in Colombia. “[The country] is in the very early stages of transitioning to becoming a mining jurisdiction in Latin America,” he says. “Unfortunately that has not cascaded as fast as we all expected.
