Dana Holding Corporation’s (DAN) lightweight Spicer axles with AdvanTEK gears have found their way into Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s new line of Indian sport-utility vehicles and small trucks. The production of Spicer axles for Mahindra is expected to start in mid 2015.

Spicer axles with AdvanTEK gears have low hypoid offsets, which increases efficiency and supports fuel economy. The axles are equipped with the proprietary assembly technology of Dana.
