Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), Canada, an operating unit of WPP plc. (WPPGY), recently declared the promotion of David Rodier to group leader of its public sector communications group with immediate effect.
Rodier has almost twenty years of experience in the policy and strategic communications field and has counseled senior leaders from the federal government, national NGOs and the private sector. He joined H+K in 2010. Prior to joining the company, Rodier worked for an Ottawa-based communications firm.
In his new role, Rodier will increase his focus on federal government accounts, which H+K has been serving for the past three decades.
Moreover, Rodier is expected to share his expertise with H+K’s national network public sector clients. The public sector communication teams provide a broad range of services such as strategic counsel, evaluation and research programs, crisis and issues management support, social media expertise as well as media and presentation training.
Rodier’s know-how and public relations expertise are expected to play a key role in strengthening H+K’s communications group.
