This latest integration is expected to improve the reading experience while offering an user-friendly application. It offers users to discover, place holds, and check out eBooks within the Encore interface. The search results display helpful eBook icons, availability status of the books and the number of copies available. The user experience is further enhanced through the personalized browse option and the patron page, which allow users to see what items they have checked out or are on hold.
The strategic move by 3M is intended to increase e-book circulation and provide all the possible benefits and convenience to the user. Innovative’s Encore discovery application helps users to identify and implement the right solution for any discovery or data intensive challenge.
