Analog Devices to Deploy PMG Suite

Zacks

Analog Devices Inc (ADI) recently selected a PMG solution to automate the processes associated with global service fulfillment. PMG’s Service Catalogue Suite (SCS) would be adopted by ADI for streamlining service requests and delivery processes.

PMG has been providing solutions to improve business processes since 1996. It has in fact developed the market leading IT Infrastructure Library compliant Enterprise Service Catalog software.

Analog Devices, Inc. is one of the world leaders in the design, manufacture and marketing of high-performance analog, mixed-signal and digital signal processing integrated circuits used in signal processing applications. Applications for its products include communications, cellular telephones, computers and computer peripherals, consumer electronics, automotive electronics, factory automation, process control and military and space systems.

From 2012 onward, the Information Services segment of ADI started shifting focus toward value added services, which required the streamlining of procedures related to ordering of items like laptops and software upgrades. Its older system delayed approvals and made it difficult to track requests. The (easy-to-use) PMG SCS Suite with its library of applications and advanced workflow engine is therefore expected to improve the level of performance and automate delivery.

Analog Devices Inc. reported third quarter 2013 earnings of 57 cents per share, higher than the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 54 cents. The increase was driven by strong revenue growth coupled with better gross margins and solid expense management.

Currently, Analog Devices has a Zacks Rank # 3 (Hold). Other stocks that look attractive this season are Supertex Inc (SUPX) with a Zacks Rank # 1 (Strong Buy) and Microchip Technology Inc (MCHP) and Magnachip Semiconductor Corp (MX) both with a Zacks Rank # 2 (Buy).
