CGI Group Signs Deal with Orange Poland

CGI Group, Inc. (GIB) recently announced that it has inked a three-year managed services contract with Orange Poland to aid the latter’s mobile IT business support systems.

Orange Poland is a major telecommunications company based in Poland. The company serves over 200 million customers across all segments of the Polish telecom market including mobile, fixed voice, broadband and TV.

CGI Group has a long business association with Orange Poland and the current contract is an extension of the existing partnership. As per the deal, CGI Group will be solely responsible for overseeing application development, systems integration and maintenance services in diverse fields such as customer relationship management, point-of-sale, provisioning, order management, enterprise application integration and billing systems.

CGI Group believes that supporting Orange Poland as a single vendor will lead to greater efficiency and help in delivering services at a relatively low cost across the country.

CGI Group is an independent information technology and business process services firm, and has about 69,000 employees across the United States, Europe and the Asia Pacific. The company provides services in high-end business and IT consulting, systems integration, application development and maintenance, infrastructure management and wide range of proprietary solutions.
