Leading paint and coatings maker The Valspar Corporation (VAL) has selected Rimini Street, Inc., a leading third-party provider of enterprise software support services, to handle its ERP software roadmap, Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10.
The support system will help Valspar generate savings by significantly reducing its annual support cost. It will also allow Valspar to reallocate resources from its total global IT budget toward strategic growth initiatives.
Valspar is focusing on implementing its Oracle E-Business Suite R11 with the flexibilities offered by Rimini Street to manage the cycles more efficiently. Thus, Valspar is avoiding spending money to upgrade to Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
Valspar focuses on expanding its business internationally and this partnership will benefit the company to deploy its resources and prioritize upgrades.
While Valspar continues to implement its dynamic global growth strategies, it has attained a more valued partnership with Rimini Street that lasts beyond break/fix software support. Apart from just providing support for customizations, interoperability, performance and interfaces at no additional costs at the support level, Rimini Street also offers strategic guidance and internal business consultation to Valspar.
Rimini Street also provides a premium-level service model with an assigned Primary Support Engineer (PSE) to its clients that can be availed all the time. This model chucks out the requirement for extra maintenance resources and headcount related with inefficient, burdensome vendor support processes and policies.
