J-W Measurement Company Announces New Name and Leadership Changes

ADDISON, Texas, Aug. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — J-W Measurement Company and White Deer Energy L.P. II (and affiliates) announced today the new name and logo of J-W Measurement Company, which was acquired in July 2013 from J-W Energy Company. In addition, J-W Measurement Company has named its senior operations and leadership team.

The new name of J-W Measurement Company is “Legacy Measurement Solutions.”

Danny Hendrix, President and CEO of Legacy Measurement Solutions stated, “Legacy Measurement Solutions is committed to maintaining the quality, service and delivery that has allowed it to become the largest gas measurement company in the United States. The new name represents the fact that we want to remember where we have come from and remind ourselves that our actions create our legacy as a corporation. We have embarked on an aggressive growth plan that includes organic growth of manufacturing capacity, an investment in technical expertise and possible strategic acquisitions. Legacy Measurement Solutions employs over 450 people operating in 14 states. It has 23 sales offices nationwide and utilizes over 180,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space. Legacy Measurement Solutions has a strong niche in the measurement equipment fabrication industry for gas and liquid hydrocarbons. Further it provides ASME engineered processing and production equipment and systems. Legacy Measurement Solutions also employees over 60 field technicians to service, maintain, install, commission and start-up its products through its field services group.

As part of the buyout and transition of J-W Measurement Company into Legacy Measurement Solutions, it was decided that new roles and responsibilities would be required in order to successfully transition into a standalone entity. Accordingly, a senior level reorganization was engineered and executed.
