Amdocs Wins Several Contracts

Amdocs Ltd. (DOX), a leading provider of customer relationship management and billing software to communications service providers, has recently won several major contracts. The company has got two contracts in the emerging markets of Brazil and Indonesia and a major contract in the economically most volatile region of Europe.

SIM TV, a leading broadband and cable TV provider in Brazil, and LinkNet, the largest cable TV operator in Indonesia, have decided to utilize the Amdocs CES Multi-Play Smart Pack. This product suite is a pre-integrated customer care and billing solution for cable operators. On the other hand, the U.K. wireless giant Vodafone Group plc. (VOD) has signed a 5-year global managed services agreement with Amdocs to optimize its customer care and billing activities.

Amdocs offers a portfolio of industry-leading technology integration products of managed services for large transformational projects. We believe that the long-term fundamentals of the company remain intriguing due to the transition of the telecom industry to converged IP solutions.

Amdocs’ business opportunity in the U.S. is more visible after stabilization of businesses with AT&T Inc. (T) and renewal of long-term contracts with several leading telecom and cable TV operators like Comcast Corp. (CMCSA). The company is doing well in the emerging markets of Southeast Asia and Latin America.The total order backlog was $2,830 million at the end of the third quarter of fiscal 2013.

The acquisition of Bridgewater has helped Amdocs to enhance its phone-billing software. This software facilitates the carriers to effectively monetize their assets, deliver superior services while improving its operating performance. Amdocs can now move a step ahead of its rivals while enabling its customers to offer personalized value-based pricing strategy.
