Stericycle, Inc.’s (SRCL) strategic business unit ExpertSOLUTIONS recently acquired leading customer relationship management (CRM) marketing company Eclipse Marketing for an undisclosed amount.
This acquisition offers ExpertSOLUTIONS with a solid infrastructure and enhances its presence throughout the European Union (EU), providing an integrated platform to coordinate services for global clients. These services include solutions for recall execution, product retrieval, field marketing services, product warehousing, field audits and environment-friendly product destruction services.
Eclipse Marketing has an expertise in recalls in the United Kingdom and Europe. The acquisition augments the product portfolio of ExpertSOLUTIONS and offers a suite of comprehensive solutions for an extensive range of industries. The transaction is a win-win situation for both the companies.
In the last reported quarter, Stericycle closed 12 acquisitions, which included 8 international and 4 domestic locations. The company expects to continue its acquisition binge to fuel healthy inorganic growth in the future as well.
Headquartered in Lake Forest, Ill., Stericycle is a leading provider of regulated medical waste management and product recall and return services in the U.S. It operates a national medical waste management network that caters to medical schools, hospitals, and other healthcare providers. In the last reported quarter, the revenues of the company increased 12.3% year over year to $526.5 million primarily driven by inorganic growth.
