The acquisition will extend SDI’s service network coverage throughout the United States, while adding further technical expertise in markets with concentrated critical infrastructure protection needs.

Founded in 2000 by the late Bill Ohlendorf, i-sys provides integrated security management systems, end-to end building automation (lighting, HVAC and energy management), mechanical services, and advanced fire safety systems. i-sys’ portfolio of clients includes major financial institutions, airports, seaports, state/local government, and universities. With offices in Sacramento, CA; Charleston, SC; and Knoxville, TN, the firm’s service network addresses clients with nation-wide assets, including a national bank with over 1,500 branches across 10 states.
