Omnicom Collaborates with Salesforce

Omnicom Media Group – the media services arm of Omnicom Group Inc. (OMC) – recently inked an agreement with leading customer relationship management (CRM) software provider salesforce.com to use its services for premier social marketing technology for its clients. The deal is the first of its kind to be offered throughout the agency, and Omnicom plans to set up the services as part as its core social marketing product.

Annalect, an operating unit of Omnicom Media Group, will develop superior social marketing technology services using Salesforce’s Marketing Cloud at its core.

Omnicom intends to leverage Salesforce’s technical expertise in advertising and social media platforms to build on its existing client base. Along with Salesforce, Omnicom plans to market these technologies in some of its key media agency hubs like London, Chicago and New York.

Omnicom believes that by using these services of Salesforce, it would help its clients to effectively exploit the potential of social media. The company believes that its new social media and mobile technologies will be effective tools for reaching out to a wider customer base across the globe.

Omnicom has a strong track record of winning new clients and receiving additional deals from the existing ones. The company’s business mix is well-diversified geographically and benefits largely from growing markets. In addition, the company’s efforts at expense regulation and its strong global reputation are commendable.
