FLOWER MOUND, Texas, June 10, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ — Go! Pages Magazine Expands into Louisiana

In a time when many publications like Newspapers and Yellow Pages are facing reduced readerships and tightening budgets, GO Pages Magazine can proudly stand apart and boast that it has continued to flourish. Founded in 2004 by Scott and Kelly Murray in Flower Mound, Texas, their publications quickly became the leader in the area. It was known for providing users with the information they needed and then some. Quickly expanding from one publication to six, the Murray’s decided to try something new, and began putting out the GO! Pages Magazine in its current form.

This new publication started out as a single direct mail magazine, providing residents with local savings and coupons every 5-6 weeks, but that didn’t last long. Again, one publication turned into more, and there are currently 5 different issues printed in North Texas communities. More than 2 million of these magazines are delivered yearly, along with a strong social media presence. What started as a small, local directory has grown into a thriving source of information and savings — but the Murray’s and their staff did not stop there. In late 2012, there was yet another expansion.

Denton, Texas student residents began to receive The Campus Pages Lifestyle and Savings Magazine. This publication follows the format of the GO! Pages Magazine, but it offers savings targeted toward college students. Along with these coupons and deals, the magazine offers students and staff the chance to view area event photos and read local articles. This allows them to develop a true sense of the area and everything it has to offer in one convenient package. As the contents change with each issue, there is something for everyone in the magazine.

Riding along this tidal wave of success, GO! Pages has decided to expand from northern Texas into Louisiana, bringing the ability to get great deals into a new state. Largely due to the efforts of one man, the magazine’s appearance in Louisiana is poised to take the area by storm — just like its Texas predecessors.

The man responsible for bringing GO! Pages Magazine to Louisiana is Michael Joyce, a resident of the state since 1991. Mr. Joyce received his Bachelors of Science degree in Business Management, and decided to keep attending classes. A student of Louisiana State University, the University of New Orleans, Success Labs and SSA Consultants to name a few, Joyce is continually studying leadership and marketing in order to further his academic and professional skills.

Michael began his media career after spending 17 years working with pharmaceuticals. In 2002 he worked in both industries, earning multiple sales awards and garnering leadership positions in a short time. This was accomplished by paying close attention to detail and focusing on the customer during each individual business encounter.

Well versed in many different ways, Mr. Joyce has experience in both directional and creative philosophies, and he prefers a hands on approach to everything he does. Experience with SEM, SEO, video, direct mail, reputation management, social media, and website development have allowed Joyce to become a well-rounded power player in his field. Another area where Joyce is experienced is with the yellow pages, both online and print editions.

Mr. Joyce is ready to enhance the lives of southern Louisiana residents by bringing Geaux Creative Solutions, LLC to the area, and publishing numerous My Louisiana Go! Pages magazines. By understanding the hardships faced by both consumers and local businesses, these publications can be used in a positive way for everyone involved, targeting the businesses that need it the most.

While doing his part to improve the area’s livelihood, Michael Joyce will continue to be a family man, taking part in many community events with his wife and two daughters, and spending time outdoors, golfing and working toward the conservation of the beautiful Louisiana environment.
