The leading producer of cereals in the world, Kellogg Company (K) recently introduced a number of products, which include all new versions of popular breakfast options. These products are designed to suit the changing preference of the consumers.

The company introduced Special K Nourish hot cereal and bars, Kellogg’s To Go breakfast shakes and other products like, Pop-Tarts Gone Nutty toaster pastries, Raisin Bran Healthy Heart Omega 3 cereal, Special K Multigrain cereal, Kashi GOLEAN Vanilla Graham Clusters cereal and Kashi Heart-to-Heart cereal.

These products target the growing number of health conscious consumers who prefer easily available nutritious food given their busy schedule, particularly for breakfast. These cereal options particularly capitalize on the increasing awareness about the importance of breakfast as the first meal of the day.

Special K Nourish hot cereal offers a healthy breakfast option as it contains whole grains like quinoa, oats, barley and wheat. The first ever Special K hot cereal is offered in three flavors, maple brown sugar crunch, cranberry almond, and cinnamon raisin pecan. These cereals can be easily cooked by stirring in hot water or by putting it in the microwave after adding cold water. Nuts and fruits are provided along with the pack in a removal cup to make a delicious breakfast.

The Special K Nourish bars are made of healthy ingredients like quinoa, fruits, nuts, and seeds. They are offered in three flavors, dark chocolate nut delight, cranberry almond, and lemon twist.

Kellogg’s To Go breakfast shakes come in three flavors, milk chocolate, vanilla and strawberry and are packed as an easy-to-mix powder or ready-to-drink single serve bottles.

Kellogg has always focused on brand building through product innovation and improved product mix with the help of optimal price/mix combinations. For instance, Kellogg had recently introduced new flavors of Pop-Tarts. The new Pop-Tarts Gone Nutty is offered in two flavors, Peanut Butter and Frosted Chocolate Peanut Butter. These efforts help drive market share gains and consistent growth in sales and earnings over the long term.
