Kitco News speaks with Mercenary Geologist Mickey Fulp about the mining sector and recent activities in gold, copper, uranium, platinum and palladium. Fulp also discusses junior miners and the sector’s struggle to raise capital. Despite the slumping mining industry, Fulp is optimistic about exploration and recent discoveries in copper and gold. He is also becoming bullish on natural gas as he has been on uranium. The real problem with mining companies, in Fulp’s opinion, is the board of directors and shareholders need to take this seriously. Finally, Fulp looks at gold and silver ratios as well as platinum and palladium ratios, which both look compelling. Kitco News, May 28, 2013
