Kitco News shares geologist Brent Cook’s insights on the mining industry. He is cautiously optimistic about the sector as he expects high demand for metals in the next couple of years. Cash flow remains the biggest problem. In fact, Cook said that there are 700 mining companies that have $200,000 or less, and that isn’t enough capital to make it through the year. However, Cook claims he looks to invest in companies with good management and enough cash to advance their projects without having to rely on the market.
