Air Products & Chemicals Inc. (APD) is set to launch its new Dermohydrine cellular active at the In-Cosmetics 2013, to be held in Paris from Apr 16-18. Air Products’ Dermohydrine cellular active has been designed to provide personal care formulators with an effective, high-performing moisturizing solution that can readily address the natural ingredient demands of consumers.
The uniqueness of the Dermohydrine cellular active is that it provides natural extracts to improve the moisture retention levels of the skin. Dermohydrine cellular active under the vivo panel tests showed excellent improvement in the hydration level of the skin. This improvement was at par with the traditional, expensive high-performing moisturizers like hyaluronic acid. Moreover, the best part of Dermohydrine cellular active is that it contains natural ingredients.
Air Products' high performing ROVI cosmetic active ingredient portfolio will have a new entrant in its list with Dermohydrine cellular active. The other product families under the same portfolio include Cellular Actives, ROVISOME, CERASOME, and Nanosome cosmetic active ingredients.
Air Products added the ROVI cosmetic active ingredients portfolio with its purchase of ROVI Cosmetics in Feb 2012. The acquisition of ROVI Cosmetics complemented Air Products by adding technically advanced product lines with its already existing polymer and delivery technology portfolio.
Some of the familiar ROVI products include AquaPront cellular active for reduction in the appearance of wrinkles, Epiprotectyl UV cellular active for hair sun protection, Herbapurifine cellular active for benefits including sebum control, ProContour cellular active for skin tone, Unitone cellular active for skin brightening, and Vivendin cellular active for general skin appearance benefits.
Air Products currently holds a short-term Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).
