HICKORY, N.C., Nov. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Nationally-recognized third-party logistics (3PL) provider Transportation Insight has announced the acquisition of CPA International, Inc. CPA is a Connecticut-based logistics company with over 25 years of experience serving market leaders across the country. The purchase builds on Transportation Insight’s momentum as one of the fastest-growing, privately-held companies in the United States.

This new alliance will strengthen the 3PL’s North American client base and permit CPA’s legacy clients to have access to Transportation Insight’s broad array of service and technology offerings. CPA will operate as a new division of Transportation Insight, and CPA head executive Bill Titone will serve as President of this division.

Transportation Insight’s purchase of CPA marks its first acquisition of a logistics company.
