ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 26, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — DCS Corp announced today that the company has completed its acquisition of OptiMetrics, Inc., a specialized research and engineering services firm headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan. OptiMetrics is a privately held, employee-owned company with key service offerings in Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNe) defense, electro-optical evaluation and development, training and simulation, and combat vehicle survivability for the Department of Defense.

The acquisition will enhance DCS’s support of Army, Air Force, and Navy customers, while providing additional subject matter expertise in CBRNe defense. OptiMetrics, Inc. will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary and report to the Army and Marine Corps Operations Sector Executive Vice President, Randolph T. Washington.
