ANDOVER, Mass., May 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — Enterasys Networks, a Siemens Enterprise Communications Company will kick off its 2012 channel conference tomorrow at the Venetian in Las Vegas. This year’s conference will focus on how the channel can accelerate business through opportunities in the market and closer engagement with Enterasys. The Enterasys channel program recently had its most successful year ever and the conference will reinforce how recent product innovations such as the OneFabric Edge and Mobile IAM launch provide partners with highly differentiated solutions to bring to market.

“We’re seeing a lot of momentum among customers in technologies such as data center virtualization, wireless and wired convergence, and end-to-end security and management solutions. Enterasys provides differentiated solutions for these areas and we’re continuing to grow, outperforming the market and competition, and providing a great environment for partners to succeed,” said Charlie Van Pelt, Director of North American Channels at Enterasys. “At Enterasys we continue to improve and grow our partner program to enhance partner opportunity and provide ways to make it simple and profitable for our partners to sell Enterasys solutions. This has been our strongest year ever for our channel in terms of investment, opportunity, and momentum.”

Enterasys’ momentum is marked by ten consecutive quarters of year over year growth and has resulted in more than 1,500 new customers. Revenue from partners increased by 25 percent, and more than 100 new partners were added to the program. Enterasys channel partners are finding success with top verticals such as education and healthcare. In addition, trends such as virtualization, cloud and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) are creating specialized needs among customers and new solutions such as the Enterasys BYOD offering, Mobile IAM, have enabled our partners to deliver highly differentiated and cost effective solutions. Enterasys has also created solutions that are easy to sell, such as the new OneFabric Edge Starter Bundles, and is also providing enhanced services opportunities for partners.

“Our customers are grappling with the most effective ways to solve bring-your-own-device (BYOD) issues and challenges,” said Keith Turgeon, president of Namtek. “With Mobile IAM, Enterasys delivers a compelling solution to help organizations solve these issues more easily while removing some of the complexity and risk. This is the simplest, most cost effective offering in the market to enable our customers’ success. As a partner, we can really get behind this. It is differentiated, easy to sell… and it’s guaranteed.”

“We have recently signed on as an Enterasys partner and we have made the strategic decision to place our bets with Enterasys,” said Dan Garrett with ATS. “We are so confident in our relationship with Enterasys that we are not carrying any other networking vendors and have built a demo room dedicated to Enterasys wired/wireless equipment and network management software. We are excited about Enterasys offerings such as OneFabric Edge and already have a good customer pipeline.”
