Toronto-Based The Acquisition Agency Expands The Search Agency’s Core Offerings and Global Footprint

LOS ANGELES, May 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — The Search Agency, a global digital marketing agency that combines high-tech and high-touch strategies to help customers find and acquire the right audiences, today announced its expansion into Canada with the purchase of The Acquisition Agency, a Toronto-based digital marketing firm that provides its services to many leading companies. Under the agreement, The Acquisition Agency will become The Search Agency’s Toronto office, led by The Acquisition Agency’s Jason Sikora. The talent of two companies with deep-rooted histories in search will be merged to provide international clients the best service and results from their online marketing programs. The union and purpose of these two companies is to also grow search marketing and optimization in Canada, which has historically been underserved in the Canadian market.

The agency will maintain its existing talent-base, who will continue to run the firm and service its clients. Sikora, current CEO of The Acquisition Agency, will stay on as managing director in Canada, bringing more than 15 years of Internet marketing experience to The Search Agency. Prior to founding The Acquisition Agency, Sikora served as the Chief Marketing Officer at LavaLife Corp, leading all marketing initiatives and helping to grow the mobile division into the fastest growing sector of the company. In previous roles, Sikora has launched several online marketing initiatives with Starbucks, Amazon, and BlackBerry, and has served in executive positions with Grey Advertising Worldwide, Points.com, ClickThrough Interactive and others.
