Competitive Companies, Inc. Acquires Wytec International, Inc.

PR Newswire

SAN ANTONIO, Nov. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Competitive Companies, Inc. “CCI” (OTCBB: CCOP), www.cci-us.com announced today that it has successfully completed the acquisition of Wytec International, Inc. “We are extremely excited about this acquisition in that it represents a solid entry into the 4G Mobile Broadband race,” remarks CEO, William Gray. Wytec owns five U.S. “world class” patents directly involved in the development of carrier grade mobile broadband delivery. The Wytec technology utilizes a proprietary network architecture coupled with its patented “Multichannel Radio Frequency Transmission” (MRFT) technology to accomplish next generation mobile broadband speeds. The heart of its design enables multiple channels of licensed and/or unlicensed frequencies to “band” together into one very large efficient bandwidth channel supporting the delivery of 4G+ Mobile Broadband access to residential, commercial and government subscribers.

The IMT-Advanced defines current 4G Mobile Broadband as service speeds “up to” 100 Mbps for high-mobility communication − technology utilized within trains and cars, and 1 (Gbps) for low-mobility communication. CCI defines “4G+” as service speeds “exceeding” 100Mbps for high-mobility communications. The patented Wytec technology is capable of delivering 4G+ speeds in which CCI intends to offer the technology in both “Licensing” and “Off-Loading” services to “rural market service providers” and major carriers. Offloading services have now become a key consideration to major carriers in delivering future 4G services due to the continued difficulty in obtaining contiguous spectrum in the United States.

The Wytec Purchase Agreement includes a unique joint venture feature whereby the Seller, MediaG3 (MDGC) (www.mediag3.com), receives “license free” use of the Wytec technology in addition to a capital investment from the Buyer-Competitive Companies, Inc. in exchange for continued upgrades and improvements to the Wytec technology. It’s a “win-win” partnership, says CEO, Val Westergard. The Wytec technology is currently being deployed in both Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Boise, Idaho. CCI, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Wireless Wisconsin LLC (www.wirelesswisconsin.net) expects to be offering its services to the public by March 1, 2012 while MediagG3 expects to be offering services to the public by February 1, 2012. Both operations plan to be utilizing “carrier grade” authentication software enabling full integration into current LTE, LTE Light and WiMax mobile broadband systems. These technologies make up the majority of the estimated $30 billion in the U.S. mobile broadband Industry. The significance of this integration is that it will allow the Wytec technology to be connected to current 4G mobile broadband “worldwide” instantaneously while simultaneously upgrading to 4G+ service. Thus both companies expect to have rapid revenue development within months instead of years.
