Northrop Becomes Inmarsat Distributor (GD) (LMT) (NOC)

Northrop Grumman Corporation ( NOC ) said it is partnering with Inmarsat Global Limited, London, to provide leased services and act as a network services distribution partner for Inmarsat Commercial Satellite Services around the world. Northrop’s three-year agreement with Inmarsat entails distribution of the latter’s Broadband Global Area Network and offer standard Inmarsat products and services, and customized power and bandwidth worldwide. Northrop expects the deal to contribute to lower-cost satellite airtime and services; and contribute to maintaining satellite communications as a key component of the company's integrated capabilities.
