BOSTON, Sept. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — STAG Industrial, Inc. (the “Company”) (NYSE: STAG) today announced the acquisition of two warehouse and distribution facilities containing a total of 497,820 square feet. The properties are located in Louisville, Kentucky and were acquired for a total of approximately $15.0 million.
These adjacent buildings are situated on 26.1+/- acres of land at 6350 Ladd Avenue and 6400 Ladd Avenue in Louisville, Kentucky. The buildings were constructed in 1977 and 1998 and both will be renovated in 2011. They are 100% leased to Exel Inc. (“Exel”) with approximately 5 years of remaining term. Exel is a leading contract logistics provider in the Americas.
