HOLLY HILL, S.C., Sept. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Holcim (US) Inc. (www.holcim.us) announced today that its plant in Holly Hill, SC has earned the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) prestigious ENERGY STAR for the second consecutive year.

In addition to Holly Hill, three other Holcim plants were named: Ste. Genevieve in Bloomsdale, MO, the Portland plant in Florence, CO and Devil’s Slide in Morgan, UT. Like Holly Hill, Ste. Genevieve received its second ENERGY STAR; the Portland plant was awarded for the first time, and Devil’s Slide in Morgan, UT received its fourth consecutive award.

The ENERGY STAR is the national symbol for protecting the environment through superior energy performance.
