PALO ALTO, Calif., Aug. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Speck Design announced today that CEO Elisa Jagerson has purchased the fifteen year old, Silicon Valley-based, product design firm from its co-founders, all of whom have agreed to serve on the Board and will remain active in the company. Jagerson was appointed CEO of Speck Design by the Board of Directors in March 2009. In the past two years, she has grown the company by more than 100% through the addition of seasoned staff in research, engineering, design and sales, expanding on the services available and creating a true, full-service design firm that addresses all product development needs from concept to end user.

An alumna of Princeton and Wharton School of Business, Elisa has spent her career running and investing in services companies, and recognized in Speck Design the opportunity to expand on a successful business by directly aligning Speck’s and its client’s business goals.
