These findings are based on the recurring consumer survey that the company runs to measure environmental IQ and eco-affinity of the American consumers. Besides, these findings are further validated by the company’s own sales data.

The survey results conclude that the awareness and adoption for Green and Organic is increasing among American consumers in general with Texas showing the fastest growth rates of people seeking/willing to switch to eco friendly alternatives when it comes to making a purchase decision.

1,012 Americans participated in the survey conducted in H1, 2011. Respondents represented the four regions throughout the US in equal quotas: Midwest, Northeast, South, and West. All age groups and genders are near equally represented.
