BENICIA, Calif., July 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Pacific Insulation has announced a new distribution agreement with Vita Nonwovens, manufacturer of EnGuard GlassFree Insulation, bringing an innovative Green Building insulation to the Western US and CA markets.

EnGuard™ is polyester thermal and acoustic insulation, manufactured from recycled PET, sourced from soda and water bottles. The product offers a sustainable alternative to traditional insulations while addressing some of the most urgent environmental concerns. EnGuard™ is 100% recyclable and contains 50% post-consumer content. EnGuard™ is free of harmful chemical additives and airborne irritants. It is hypoallergenic and fully compliant with stringent CA standards on VOC’s.
