Cambium Learning Group, Inc. Announces Purchase of $4.9 Million in Company Shares From SPO Partners

DALLAS, May 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Cambium Learning Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: ABCD) (the “Company”) announced today that on Friday, May 20, 2011, the Company entered into a stock purchase agreement with the investor group, SPO Partners. The transaction was settled the same day with the Company purchasing 1,643,507 shares for a total cost of $4.9 million or a purchase price per share equal to three dollars and zero cents ($3.00).
