CALGARY, April 17, 2015 /CNW/ – Strategic Group is pleased to announce the merger of its subsidiary, Shift Networks with Broad-Connect Telecom Inc. effective April 15, 2015. Shift Networks provides Voice over IP (VoIP) phone services to small and medium businesses across Canada.

Shift Networks engineered and commercialized a national platform to provide a range of unified communications (UC) and telephony solutions. Shift’s merger with Broad-Connect – an IP telephony company with offices across Canada – will allow the consolidated customer base to benefit from an even broader telephony solution and service infrastructure on a full national platform with significant critical mass. It is not anticipated that any offices will be closed as a result of this merger.
