Celanese Corporation CE has announced that it will display its range of products from the Mowilith line of dispersions at the European Coatings Show 2015 from Apr 21–23, under the theme – “Better air, everywhere.” Celanese will show the formulators the use of vinyl acetate emulsion (“VAE”) technology in manufacturing advanced paints solutions that provide better indoor air quality.
The new dispersions, which will be put up on display at the European Coatings Show are Mowilith LDM 7510, Mowilith LDM 2301 and Mowilith LDM 1828. The Mowilith LDM 7510 is a product which is appropriate for low-emission paint and coatings products, and can be used for decorative applications in the professional and do-it-yourself (“DIY”) segment.
The Mowilith LDM 2301 is an economic product, specifically designed for fire protection paints. The Mowilith LDM 1828 provides good resistance to wet scrubbing and is suitable for deep matte silicate interior paints.
The Mowilith brand offers a broad portfolio of water-based dispersions like vinyl acetate/ethylene (“VAE”), vinyl copolymer, pure acrylic and styrene acrylic. The Mowilith line of dispersions is a better option for safer, cleaner and more sustainable paints and coatings. These also help formulators create better products, meeting customer requirements.
According to the authority at Celanese, the rising demand for environment-friendly products from customers has led to the introduction of sustainable coatings which are known for diminishing the impact of paints on indoor air quality.
