Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and Kitco News speaks with financial astrologer Mahendra Sharma to see if he thinks there could be a love trade for gold this year. Unfortunately, according to Sharma, the stars are pessimistic towards the metals, especially gold and silver. “We still recommending people to stay away from any sizeable trade or any physical buying,” he says. Technically, Sharma says $1,143 price level is an important measure to focus on for the gold market traders. “If it trades below $1,143 for more than 60 hours, then I think there is no need to buy gold at any level, and just wait until July.” Sharma also comments on the uncertainty in Europe because of Greece, as well as the U.S. dollar’s strength. Tune in now to hear why he says this year’s Valentine’s Day will be filled with many surprises. Kitco News, February 13, 2015.
