Textron Systems Advanced Information Solutions, a unit of Textron Inc. (TXT), signed a two-year Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (“CRADA”) with the U.S. Army Communications-Electronic Research, Development and Engineering Center (“CERDEC”).

Per the agreement, Textron Systems will work on a multi-intelligence alliance for Warfighter Relevant Cloud Technologies with CERDEC's Intelligence Enterprise Branch of Information & Intelligence Warfare Directorate (“I2WD”). It will be combined with usability enhancements within the baseline of Distributed Common Ground System – Army (“DCGS-A”), thereby enhancing the capabilities of DCGS-A.
