GE Antares, an operating unit of General Electric Company’s (GE) GE Capital, recently served as an administrative agent on a $315 million senior secured credit facility to Nielsen & Bainbridge, LLC (N&B) — an international firm producing high quality picture framing products and owned by private equity firm Kohlberg & Company. The credit facility will be used for the acquisition of The Home Décor Companies and should support the operating and strategic initiatives of N&B to fuel its growth strategy.
The Home Décor Companies is one of the leading suppliers of home décor products, services and solutions in North America. Home Décor will be combined with N&B’s custom and ready-made picture frame business and will operate under the name NBGHome. The acquisition will bring in significant top-line synergies by way of expanding the company’s product line and customer base.
