OAKVILLE, ON, Nov. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ – Algonquin Power & Utilities Corp.
(“APUC”) (TSX: AQN) today announced that it has entered into
discussions with Goldwind International SO Limited regarding the
potential acquisition by APUC of a 109MW contracted wind powered
generating station located in Illinois. Discussions are continuing and
there is no certainty as to whether a binding agreement will be
reached. A further announcement will be made in due course, if
appropriate.
