High-Tech PR Experts Paula Larson and Ellie O’Rourke Join Mobility PR Leadership Team

The acquisition includes the addition of agency founders and PR industry veterans Paula Larson and Ellie O’Rourke to Mobility PR’s leadership team and L&O PR clients to its portfolio. Paula and Ellie join Mobility PR’s existing leadership team, which over the past six years has led award-winning PR campaigns for mobile technology companies, from small start-ups to large publicly traded corporations, and counseled clients through strategic shifts in their businesses, IPOs, mergers and acquisitions.

A long-time PR pro with more than 150 corporate and product launches to her credit, Paula has driven award-winning, highly successful and qualitative PR programs for numerous high-tech, industrial and consumer clients. Paula possesses strong expertise in the semiconductor business, working with companies focused on the mobility industry such as Nevion, ParkerVision and Symmetricom. Previously, Paula was a vice president at The Hoffman Agency where she oversaw multiple clients, managed several global accounts and lead many new business endeavors. Highlights include building Philips Semiconductors NA into a global account, as well as driving global trade and business coverage for enterprise mobility and security provider, iPass, increasing customer and prospect awareness and creating corporate credibility. Earlier career highlights also include generating broad awareness, leading to mainstream and trade media coverage for Motorola’s Mobile Networks Integration Technology, one of the very first open architectures that enabled users of different devices to communicate across dissimilar data networks.

With more than 15 years of PR and marketing communications experience, Ellie O’Rourke has developed, executed and managed successful PR programs for a range of high-tech clients on both the agency and corporate side of the business. Ellie’s senior agency experience includes leading accounts in the enterprise software, cloud computing, mobile apps, wireless and Wi-Fi industries. Her work with The Hoffman Agency included managing award-winning, high-tech accounts, such as HP, Openwave, iPass, Philips Semiconductors (now NXP), Rambus and Synopsys. As global account director on the iPass account, Ellie managed a global team across seven countries to include day-to-day management, as well as ongoing guidance with strategic direction and planning.
