DETROIT, Sept. 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Citidal Partners LLC, a privately held Detroit based company, has announced today that it has acquired Lexel Imaging Systems Inc.

Lexel Imaging Systems Inc. is a world-class manufacturer of special purpose cathode ray tubes, direct view storage tubes, displays, and phosphor coated substrates. Lexel Imaging Systems Inc. was previously a subsidiary of the publicly traded companies Video Display Corporation and Hughes Aircraft Corporation.

Lexel’s customers include Boeing, Raytheon, Honeywell, Fujitsu, the U.S. government and other manufactures of aircraft, ships, tanks and submarines.

Based in Detroit, with its state of the art manufacturing facility located in Lexington, Kentucky, Lexel Imaging Systems Inc. employs approximately 100 people. Since being acquired by Citidal Partners LLC, Lexel’s revenues have risen approximately eight percent and continue to rise.
