P&G Launches Crest Sensi-Stop Strips for Tooth Sensitivity

Zacks

The Procter & Gamble Company (PG) recently introduced Crest Sensi-Stop Strips, a breakthrough at home treatment for the huge population suffering from tooth sensitivity problems.

Crest Sensi-Stop Strips comprises small flexible semitransparent strips. It is designed to cover the outer gum line of the sensitive teeth so that the exposed dentinal tubules are blocked. Dentinal tubules are small passageways, which can be exposed as a result of the loss of enamel from teeth and receding gums. These tubules lead to nerve endings causing intense pain. The use of Crest Sensi-Stop Strips will provide relief for about a month.

Some of the other PG dental products under the tooth sensitivity category include Crest Sensi-Repair & Prevent toothpaste, Oral-B Sensi-Soft Toothbrush, and Oral-B Glide Sensi-Soft Dental Floss.

Crest is one of the 25 billion dollar grooming brands of Procter & Gamble. The introduction of Crest Sensi-Stop Strips is in response to the growing demand for products that offer instant relief from sensitivity at home.

Procter & Gamble is known for its impressive product development capabilities and marketing prowess. The company believes that continued demand for its brands and products is the key to future profitability. Thus, in order to maintain its brand appeal, the company focuses on innovation and expansion of its product portfolio. The company believes that consistent product innovation, supported by strong marketing and commercialization, will deliver strong results over the long term.

Procter & Gamble currently carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).
